Why 6.8 SPC II?
The 6.8 SPC II was designed to fill a need for close quarters battle knockdown power greater then that of the 5.56 and not requiring the switch to a bigger, heavier and harder recoiling AR-10/SR-25 weapon platform. The 6.8 SPC II delivers about 44% more energy on target then that of the 5.56.

Muzzle Brake
Because the White Oak Armament Barrel utilizes 5/8-24 muzzle threads and not 1/2-28 like a mil spec AR-15 the selection is somewhat limited. Fear not the options that are available are good ones. Also keep in mind that the AR-10/SR-25 platform weapons utilize the 5/8-24 thread as well.
