MAKO GL-SHOCK RECOIL-COMPENSATING COLLAPSIBLE STOCK for M4 AR15
Mako announces the GL-Shock - the first and only recoil-compensating collapsible stock for the M4 and AR-15 on the market today.
The GL-Shock, manufactured by FAB Defense in Israel, effectively reduces felt recoil and muzzle rise for better control when firing. The GL-Shock is also the perfect solution for AR-15s and AR-10s chambered in harder recoiling calibers, such as the 6.8 SPC, .308 Winchester, .450 Bushmaster, or .50 Beowulf. The Mako Group offers collapsible stock kits for the AK-47/74 and SA vz.58-style rifles and for Remington and Mossberg shotguns that can be combined with the GL-Shock to provide recoil reduction for these weapons.
The GL-Shocks unique patented design allows it to be mounted on any standard MIL-SPEC or commercial carbine receiver extension (buffer tube). It is a drop-in replacement for the standard M4-style stock. The GL-Shock auto-adjusts to fit both commercial and MIL-SPEC buffer tubes with a tight, rattle-free fit. Pushing a button allows the GL-Shocks rubber buttpad to slide down, exposing a gasket-sealed waterproof battery compartment. The GL-Shocks enlarged storage compartment fits a wider array of batteries and spare parts, such as extra firing pins, gas rings, springs, or extractors.
An optional and fully-adjustable cheek riser is available for the GL-Shock (GL-ShockCP). It provides the proper eye height for carry handle-mounted optics on M4/AR-15 carbines. The GL-ShockCP is ideal for the optic-equipped AK-47, vz.58, or any shotgun that has a low stock height designed for iron sight use.
I stumbled across these guys recently. They manufacture some pretty interesting items for displaying and servicing AR15 type rifles. I purchased the PPAR-12 Cleaning Station with Barrel Support and Parts Tray. The unit consists of a tray with a magazine dimensioned and profiled block (vise block) in the center screwed and welded in place. This block is designed to hold the lower receiver while the gun is being serviced. I selected the model with the outer raised lip which serves as a parts tray. For some time if I saw some shooting related product that was new, unusual or a good buy on ebay I would post thinks on my websites. This was beneficial for visitors, sellers and myself as ebay would pay a few pennies a click. Not a big deal and everyone wins.

Anderson Manufacturing Introduces AM-15 Series of Rifles

An RF-85 treated weapon cycles faster and more reliably, operates at cooler temperatures, experiences significantly less wear and, without traditional wet lubricant, doesn't experience failures due to excess dirt and carbon fouling in the action. According to the Oak Ridge Testing Report, "There are several advantages associated with friction reduction in general, two of those being heat reduction and increased component life." Another huge advantage offered by the RF-85 Treatment is incredibly easy cleanup and dramatically reduced carbon fouling.
The RF85 treatment process has been used successfully in other industries: motor racing - extending the life of racing rear end gear sets, showing less wear, less replacement, reduced oil from five or six quarts to ONE quart and lower heat build up; Metal-working cutting tool applications, increasing cutting efficiency and tool longevity; and in the Medical Industry, specifically Orthopedics, where traditional non treated cutting tools generate excess heat, leading to post-operative complications. These previous experiences and successes in high heat, rapid cyclic situations, makes the RF-85 treatment process a natural fit for the extreme duty requirements of the AR-15 Rifle. With the ANDERSON AM-15 RIFLE treated with the RF85 PROCESS, the gun NEVER needs to be cleaned with cleaning solution - only wiped out with a moist cloth and then dry cloth. Repeat - the action of this weapon NEVER needs to be cleaned in the traditional manner with harsh, smelly solvents and should NEVER be oiled. Simply clean with soapy water and a nylon brush, followed by thorough drying with a clean cloth. DO NOT OIL.
